The St. Simons Lighthouse in located in St. Simons Island, Georgia. The lighthouse was built in 1807. It was a one story lighthouse and it stood approximately 25 feet.
The lighthouse is very interesting itself and has a lot of history behind it. Nobody wanted to ever forget the history, so the St. Simons Lighthouse museum was opened. The admissions to the museum includes a tour of the lighthouse, access to the museum, ability to go in the watch tower, viewable galleries, and exhibits.
