Jim Shore’s lighthouse dioramas come from Jim Shore’s popular Heartwood Creek collection. One of the lighthouse dioramas (Summer Breezes) is a handcrafted folk art lighthouse that lights up the diorama showcasing a sailboat sailing in the waters. The sailboat is in the bottom of the lighthouse diorama and is placed in front of homes on the shoreline.
The lighthouse itself is perched on top of rocks and has red checkered stripes around it with the diorama section being carved out in the bottom half of the lighthouse. Standing on top of the lighthouse is its keeper, looking through his telescope and looking for any ships that may need his light’s help to navigate the waters.
There is also a Jim Shore Seashell Diorama, which is made in the shape of a seashell, with a beautiful coastal setting nestled inside of the shell. And, of course, there is a Jim Shore lighthouse which is predominately displayed in this coastal scene.
