Lefton lighthouse figurines are made by the Lefton Company, which was founded by Hungarian George Zoltan Lefton. He migrated to Chicago in 1939, and by 1941 he had already founded the company. He loved porcelain so much that he decided that this was one of his life’s passions.
Lefton makes several different lighthouse collections. One of these is the Historic American Lighthouse collection, and also, the Lost Lights collection. The Lefton lighthouse figurines are made to scale and come with information about the actual lighthouses they are modeled after.
