Nautical antiques are not always easy to find, particularly if a person is far inland. Sea faring antiques can include sea chests, navigation aids, and other items found at sea. A lucky person may find an old anchor, but he should not expect it to be one that comes from an actual ship. Anchors usually weigh several tons in order to allow an anchor to do its job.
Other nautical antiques may be replicas instead of true antiques. Someone may come across a ship’s wheel if he is lucky. Compasses and other nautical antiques may occasionally show up at an auction from time to time. The items may or may not be worth money, but they can easily fit into the home decorations schemes of most people.
