Nautical wall décor can take many forms. Pictures of ships hanging on the wall, brass replicas of ships, pictures of lighthouses, and virtually anything a user can think of. Even a ship in a bottle mounted on a shelf can make up part of a person’s decorating theme.
All forms of nautical wall décor must in some way relate back to the ocean. Such displays often relate back to sailing specifically, but they do not have to. A picture of a whale or a dolphin can easily fit into a house full of maritime decorations without too much trouble.
When selecting nautical wall décor, a person should keep in mind that the colors used can either match those colors already in the home, or they can be used as an accent to the home’s already established color scheme.
