Oregon is a state in the northwestern part of the United States. It has many tourist attractions and is a very interesting location. This state has many lighthouses along its coast. All of them have specific names, rich histories and have spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
Along the coast of Oregon, the Pacific Coast Highway is located. Along this highway, there are various lighthouses. They are known as the Cape Blanco, Cape Arago, Umpqua River, Heceta, Yaquina Bay, Yaquina Head, and Cape Meares lighthouses. The Cape Blanco lighthouse is located on a set of cliffs and is the one that is furthest to the south.

The Cape Meares lighthouse is located in Tillman, Oregon and is open to the public with no admission fee. The Yaquina Head lighthouse is located in Newport, Oregon and has over 400,00 visitors every year. The Yaquina Bay lighthouse is located in Newport, Oregon and is open to the public.
The Hacena Head lighthouse is open to the public and is located in Florence, Oregon. The Umpqua lighthouse is located in Umpqua state park and was constructed in 1894. The Cape Arago lighthouse is not open to the public and is maintained by the Coast Guard. It is located in Charleston, Oregon.
The Cape Blanco lighthouse is located near the Cape Blanco state park and it only gives restricted access to visitors. It is positioned on a 200 foot cliff and was constructed in 1870. It is also the oldest lighthouse tower in the state of Oregon.
